Private Beach Wedding
South Haven, MI

Stephanie & Stan had a fabulous beach wedding on the North side in South Haven, MI. It was a very unique May day in Michigan. Immediately prior to the ceremony a thick fog covered the wedding location creating an intimate, private feeling despite being on Lake Michigan. As soon as the bride and groom were announced, the fog lifted. It was perfect. Steph and Stan had a unique and memorable element incorporate into their wedding: a foot washing ceremony to symbolize submission to one another. Roughly 70 people attended the ceremony followed by a reception at the First Baptist Church youth hall.

Having grown up in a little town on the shores of Lake Michigan whose primary economy is travel, tourism, and hospitality, I lived and breathed this industry. My college studies were primarily Hospitality and Tourism Management which led to a job in Southern California as a Corporate Meeting Planner for one of the largest private companies in America. I moved back to the Midwest and helped launch a Collaborative Design Hub in Grand Rapids, MI. I took a few years off to follow the love of my life back to the West Coast to start a family. It's time to jump back in. Although a few years ago my passion was corporate events, I've switched gears to more personalized service and focusing on smaller scale events.
